About this program
The Greater Worcester Community Foundation offers the Nonprofit Effectiveness Grant Program to support internal organizational projects aimed at building capacity, navigating change, and fostering inclusive leadership for 501(c)(3) organizations serving Worcester County residents. Grants of up to $10,000 are available for initiatives such as organizational audits, strategic planning, executive coaching, and DEIA education. Eligibility requires that 100% of the work benefits Worcester County residents, and applicants must not have received a Nonprofit Effectiveness grant from the Foundation within the past 18 months. Organizations are encouraged to consult with Foundation staff before submitting their project proposals.
