One Mind Rising Star Awards

About this program

One Mind's Rising Star Awards provide up to $300,000 over three years to early‑career investigators in neuroscience, psychiatry, psychology, and related disciplines to fund innovative, high‑risk/high‑reward research that advances understanding, detection, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental health and psychiatric disorders. Awardees also receive career development through the Rising Star Academy, including mentorship, executive coaching, leadership and communication training, and networking. Eligibility is limited to early‑career investigators in the specified fields who propose high‑impact, transformative mental‑health research, with selection emphasizing scientific novelty and potential clinical or public‑health impact. Applicants and awardees are expected to participate in the program’s mentorship and leadership activities; consult One Mind for current application deadlines and detailed submission requirements.
