About this program

The Amarillo Area Foundation, on behalf of Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC and the CNS Pantex Community Investment Fund, offers grants of $2,500–$10,000 for projects addressing basic needs, children and families, community development, education, and health and wellness in northern Texas Panhandle communities. Funds must benefit residents of the region’s 26 northernmost counties, with priority for organizations in the 12 counties surrounding the Pantex Plant and projects serving multiple priority counties. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, qualifying government entities, K–12 schools, colleges and universities, and faith-based organizations serving the broader community; only one application per organization is permitted. Applications are due May 1, 2027.
