PCORI Ambassador Program

About this program

Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) operates the PCORI Ambassador Program, a national volunteer network that engages the healthcare community to strengthen patient-centered comparative clinical effectiveness research (CER) and disseminate PCORI-funded findings. Ambassadors volunteer their own time (no award or fee), receive support and guidance from the PCORI Ambassador Team, and perform activities such as providing stakeholder perspectives, activating communities to engage in CER, offering feedback on research results, and sharing CER best practices. Open to individuals of all professional and educational backgrounds—including patients, caregivers, researchers, clinicians, health systems, payers, industry, policymakers, purchasers, and training institutions—there are no formal training requirements; applicants set their own time commitment and may register on an ongoing basis via the program website.
