Pegasus Prize

About this program

The Dallas Foundation’s Pegasus Prize is a $50,000 social innovation grant that recognizes nonprofit organizations using creative, data-driven solutions to address Dallas County needs in education, family & economic stability (housing, food), and mental health. The award amplifies impact and visibility and supports testing or early-stage projects (under three years) that demonstrate creativity, feasibility, measurable impact and potential to scale; funds may be used for project development, personnel, administration/overhead and other project-related expenses but not for ongoing annual operating costs or endowments. Applicants must be nonprofit organizations (individuals are ineligible), located in the City of Dallas or Dallas County and serving primarily Dallas County residents; applications are by invitation only and the application period is December 1–19.
