About this program

The Pew–Stewart Scholars for Cancer Research program, funded by the Alexander and Margaret Stewart Trust and administered by The Pew Charitable Trusts, is a national initiative that provides support to promising early-career scientists to accelerate discovery and advance progress toward a cure for cancer. Awards fund innovative, cutting-edge projects addressing major challenges in cancer biology, treatment, and prevention and aim to help scholars translate discoveries toward patient benefit.
