PKD Foundation Fellowship Program 2027

About this program

The PKD Foundation offers two-year fellowships totaling $140,000 ($70,000 annually) to support early-career investigators conducting basic, translational, clinical, epidemiological, or data-analysis research relevant to ADPKD or ARPKD. Research should advance understanding of PKD biology or the development of predictive and therapeutic strategies, with funding beginning July 1, 2027. Applicants must hold an M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent degree, have no more than five years of post-degree research or postdoctoral training, lack a primary faculty appointment, and conduct the work under a mentor while devoting at least 75% effort to research and training. A pre-application is required by August 17, 2026, and only invited applicants may submit full proposals by January 19, 2027.
