Professional Development Grants for Arts Organizations

About this program

South Arts provides Professional Development Grants to foster the growth and stability of arts organizations in the southern US. The grants support staff and board participation in various professional development activities, promoting organizational capacity and sustainability.

Eligible applicants include arts organizations with operating budgets of $500,000 or less, such as artist ensembles, museums, and arts service organizations, based in one of South Arts' nine designated states. Applicants must provide a dollar-for-dollar cash match and can request up to $1,000, subject to funding availability.
