Reach-the-World Fellowships

About this program

The International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) offers Reach-the-World Fellowships to support junior clinicians and researchers from selected countries in undertaking up to four months of training at expert host institutes in thrombosis and hemostasis. Awards cover economy round-trip airfare and living expenses of up to $3,000 per month, with at least four fellowships available annually. Applicants must be ISTH members, hold an MD or PhD, be within 10 years of completing relevant training or earning their PhD, and work at an academic institution in an eligible Reach-the-World country. Applications require a training plan, curriculum vitae, institutional support letters, and a commitment to return to the home institution for at least one year; submission periods are April 1–June 1 and November 1–December 31 annually.
