About this program
The Dressage Foundation offers the Region 9 Teaching Excellence Award, a $5,000 grant to recognize and support dressage instructors in USDF Region 9 who demonstrate exceptional teaching skills, adherence to dressage principles, and community involvement. The award is intended for continuing education purposes, excluding competition entries, veterinary/farrier expenses, stabling fees, or living expenses. Eligibility requires nominees to be USDF Region 9 members in good standing with a permanent residence in the region, nominated by students or peers, and unable to win consecutively. Applications are due by August 1, 2025, with nominations accepted from students or peers.
