About this program
The Dermatology Foundation’s Research Career Development Award provides career-development support to junior investigators transitioning from fellowship to independent investigator status to conduct skin research. Funding requires that all Foundation‑supported research be performed in the United States under the sponsorship of an ACGME‑accredited dermatology department or division. Applicants must meet the Foundation’s general and award‑specific eligibility criteria at the time of funding; candidates from minority and underserved populations are encouraged to apply and proposals addressing health issues affecting these groups are especially welcomed.
