Resident Research Preceptorship

The **Rheumatology Research Foundation** offers the **Resident Research Preceptorship**, a $15,000 grant for a three-month, full-time research experience in rheumatology, to be completed within 12 months. This program aims to attract promising physicians to investigative careers in rheumatology by providing salary, research, and living cost support. Eligibility is limited to residents in U.S.-based ACGME-accredited internal medicine or pediatrics programs, with a preceptor who is an ACR/ARP member and meets research criteria, including a strong record of peer-reviewed research. Applications are evaluated based on scientific merit, preceptor credentials, mentorship environment, and the feasibility of the resident’s role.
