Robert Florin Resident Award (AANS)

About this program

American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) offers the Robert Florin Resident Award, a $500 cash prize presented annually at the AANS meeting for a resident-authored abstract on a socioeconomic topic in neurosurgery. Winners are chosen from abstracts submitted to the AANS annual meeting (no separate application) by the Program Committee based on originality, merit, innovation, and scientific process. Eligible applicants are neurosurgery residents who have made a significant contribution to the submitted abstract; the committee may withhold the award in years when no abstract meets the criteria.
