RPS Sponsored International Conference (Helen Liapis) Award

Renal Pathology Society offers the Helen Liapis RPS Sponsored International Conference Award to provide $500 grants (up to $1,000 total annually, or a single $1,000 award by majority BOD vote) to support trainee attendance at RPS‑sponsored or endorsed international courses/meetings or to fund educational materials and related infrastructure for such meetings. Eligible applicants for travel/registration support are trainees (pathology residents, fellows, PhD students, postdoctoral fellows); RPS membership is recommended but not required for trainees. Organizers of international RPS courses/meetings may apply for material/infrastructure support but must be RPS members. Applications (unsolicited) are emailed to the Chair of the Nomination & Award Committee and must include course details, tentative program/objectives, a letter of support from an RPS faculty member and the trainee CV (and an organizer’s RPS support letter if requesting educational material); awards must be acknowledged in course materials and the same course may not receive the award in consecutive years.
