The EMDR Research Foundation offers the Sandra Wilson Memorial Dissertation Grant Award, providing up to $8,000 for dissertation research on EMDR effectiveness in designated priority areas. Funds may support research-related expenses such as instruments, transcription, coding, software, consultation, printing, and participant incentives, but not tuition, travel, equipment, or applicant salary. Eligible applicants are doctoral students in social work, psychology, or nursing who have completed coursework and received approval for their dissertation proposal; applicants may study in any country, but applications must be submitted in English. Applications are due February 1 and July 1 through the Foundation’s online system and must include the proposal, recommendations, IRB approval, research and completion timelines, budget, CV, and other required materials.
