About this program
IPRA Foundation (IPRAF) funds the Peace Research Grants program, awarding up to $5,000 to support empirical and applied peace research worldwide; applications are currently closed and will reopen June 1, 2026. Applications are submitted via a fill-in PDF and reviewed in three annual cycles (application deadlines Feb 28/29, June 30, Oct 31 with award dates March 31, July 31, Nov 30), with a maximum of three grants awarded per year. Eligible applicants are researchers proposing peace-focused projects; proposals receive an initial suitability review (by Dr. Fuertes) and are then evaluated by three IPRAF board members. The Dorothy Marchus Senesh Fellowship application period is also closed and will reopen October 1, 2026.
