SRS SLEEP Meeting Conference & Trainee Awards (including First-Time Attendee Award)

About this program

Sleep Research Society (SRS) offers a suite of trainee-focused conference awards for the annual SLEEP Meeting—including the Trainee Merit Award, Leadership Development Workshop (odd years), Grant Writing Workshop (even years), Diversity Travel Award, SRSF Undergraduate Trainee Travel Scholarship, and a First‑Time Attendee Award that can cover SRS membership and SLEEP registration. Applications for SLEEP 2026 are closed; information about the next application cycle will be available in January 2027, and a single application is used to be considered for all listed awards. Awards are intended for trainees (undergraduate, doctoral, and postdoctoral); the First‑Time Attendee Award prioritizes non‑member trainees, though current SRS trainee members who have not previously attended SLEEP may also apply and, if selected, receive membership extension and registration reimbursement as applicable; award components are non‑transferable.
