About this program
The Social Science Research Council's Mellon International Dissertation Research Fellowship provides funding for PhD students in the humanities and social sciences to conduct dissertation research abroad. This fellowship offers up to $20,000 for nine to twelve months of support, and successful applicants will also participate in an interdisciplinary workshop. PhD students enrolled in US programs and researching non-US topics are eligible, and international students are welcome to apply.
