Smith Richardson Foundation’s International Security and Foreign Policy Program funds research and projects to help the U.S. policy community develop national security strategies and foreign policy, addressing traditional threats like great power competition and emerging challenges such as disruptive technologies, with emphasis on Europe, East Asia, and the Middle East. The program prioritizes work that rethinks the use of U.S. political, military, and economic instruments of power and supports next-generation scholars through two annual fellowships: the Strategy and Policy Fellows Program and the World Politics and Statecraft Fellowship.
