Texas Historical Foundation Annual Grants

About this program

The Texas Historical Foundation offers annual grants of up to $30,000 to support active projects that preserve and promote Texas history, heritage, and culture. Eligible activities include historic property preservation, museum and educational programming, artifact and archival conservation, archeology, scholarly research, publications, and cultural heritage initiatives. Applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or apply through a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor, with projects demonstrating preservation of or public engagement with Texas history. Applications are due March 1, 2027, through Foundant.
