The Buhite Scholarship

About this program

The American Academy of Implant Dentistry Foundation offers the $2,000 Buhite Scholarship to support educational expenses or program costs for students pursuing doctorate or post-doctorate education or experience in implantology; funds are paid to the recipient’s university or hospital program. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, full-time students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, enrolled in a U.S.-accredited dental implantology program, and have completed a prior degree. Applications require a 700–800-word essay, academic transcript, resume or CV, and two letters of recommendation, and must be submitted online by January 31, 2027, after the application opens November 1, 2026.
