Tilghman, Linda Healthcare Scholarship

About this program

Community Foundation of Noble County’s Linda Tilghman Healthcare Scholarship awards a one-time $1,000 to one high school senior enrolled in the Primary Healthcare Program at Impact Institute who plans to pursue a 2- or 4-year healthcare degree (e.g., nursing, radiologic technology, surgical technology, respiratory therapy, dentistry, physical/occupational/speech therapy, physician assistant studies); funds cover tuition, books, and academic fees and are paid to the educational institution after the recipient completes an acceptance form. Applicants must hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 and provide at least one reference from an Impact Institute teacher/instructor (a work/employer reference is encouraged). Submit the CFNC GrantInterface Scholarship application and the 2027 CFNC Main Application, including a 300–400 word essay on how working with patients has affected your outlook on a healthcare career, by January 14, 2027 at 11:00 PM.
