Women In CNS Travel Award

Safety Pharmacology Society (SPS) offers the Women in CNS Travel Award to support women scientists working on CNS and abuse-potential topics by providing complimentary registration for the SPS Annual Meeting, travel reimbursement up to $1,000 (receipts required), and a one-year SPS membership. Eligible applicants include undergraduate and graduate students, technical staff, junior scientists, postdoctoral fellows with <5 years postdoctoral experience, and early-career lab heads with <10 years in safety pharmacology from academia, CROs, industry, government, or preclinical research; prior award recipients are ineligible. Applicants must submit a 350-word abstract and required materials via the online portal, including a signed letter of recommendation/nomination and a current CV, with optional supporting documents; awardees must present a poster and attend the awards ceremony. Complete applications and supporting materials must be received by June 27 (year not specified); selections are based on scientific clarity, methods, originality, results, and overall candidate quality.
