Women's Health Career Development Award

About this program

Dermatology Foundation offers the Women’s Health Career Development Award to support U.S.-based research on women’s health issues in dermatology, including conditions that disproportionately affect women (e.g., lupus, scleroderma) and investigations of hormonal or environmental effects on skin and cutaneous aging. Award-funded research must be conducted in the United States under the sponsorship of an ACGME‑approved dermatology department or division, and applicants must satisfy the Foundation’s general and award‑specific eligibility requirements at the time of funding. Applicants from minority populations are encouraged to apply, and proposals addressing health issues affecting racial, sexual/gender/LGBTQ, and underserved or disadvantaged populations are particularly welcome.
