Wylie Scholar Award

About this program

The Foundation To Advance Vascular Cures administers the annual Wylie Scholar Award, providing $50,000 for one year (with possible renewal for a second year) to support outstanding early‑career vascular surgeon‑scientists pursuing academic careers that combine clinical practice with innovative vascular research. Candidates are reviewed by a committee of prior Wylie Scholars and selected based on demonstrated research aptitude in vascular science, surgical promise, teaching ability, and leadership. Eligibility is limited to young vascular surgeon‑scientists with a clear commitment to original research and an academic surgical career; one grantee is chosen annually.
